Ponder Suto

Ponder was born and raised in Atlanta and has deep roots in Madison and Morgan County. His grandparents, Graham and Adelaide Ponder, were civic leaders and owner/operators of The Madisonian for over 40 years.

Their many contributions to the community are still felt today. He is the 6th generation to live in Morgan County. Both his grandparents’ families settled in Morgan County in Rutledge, Fairplay, and Madison.

After they married, Ponder and his wife, Rebekah, decided to make Madison their home and raise their family here. In addition to working in real estate, Ponder is a Sheriff Deputy in Oconee County. Rebekah is a pharmacist in Madison. They have a son, Graham, and a daughter, Maggie.
